Consultation Marathon – community involvement

The “Consultation Marathons” are tools adopted by Florentine administration since 2014. They have the aim to  allow the participation of citizens in the main decisions concerning the city. They are thematic open meetings in which each citizen can talk with qualified stakeholders and people involved in the city management. The meetings are charcaterized by thematic focus groups.

In particular, the Consultation Marathon of November 14, 2015, focused on the new Management Plan of the Historic Centre of Florence, UNESCO World Heritage site.
