“Umbria the Day of the UNESCO Heritage” is an event reserved to UNESCO World Heritage sites and cities, and to Sustainable , Cultural and Responsible Tourism.

The Workshop, scheduled for Monday 17 October, aims to enhance the uniqueness of the UNESCO Sites, and therefore of Cultural Tourism, City of Art, Sustainable. It would offering concrete opportunities for contact with the main tour operators from all over the world.

In an increasingly indiscriminate tourism market, with last-minute offers coming from all sides, there was no promotion of the cultural and landscape heritage adequate enough to the rank of UNESCO sites. This Workshop seeks to be a concrete showcase to communicate and adequately present the beauties of the World Heritage sites and cities; and, as such, to create tourist circuits that would integrate the classic tours and presence in the cities and in the World Heritage sites.

The goal is to create a “system” by creating a captivating tourist circuit that is able to involve a growing number of international tour operators, who would bring tourists, responsibly, to these beautiful locations of our Umbria Region.

Conferences and seminars will turn the attention of journalists, industry experts and operators of our Region towards the world of Cultural Heritage. One main issue to be discussed will be cultural and responsible tourism.

For the B2B meetings, which will be held on the morning of October 17th, in addition to Italy, buyers from the following countries will also participate: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France – Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK, United States.
