Ravello Lab’s International Colloquia, 20-22 October 2016

In the afternoon of Saturday 22 October, the 11th edition of Ravello Lab came to an ended. The International Colloquia, jointly promoted by Federculture and the European University Centre for Cultural Heritage; which for two days saw over 60 representatives of MiBACT, museum directors, operators in the cultural sector, and stakeholders from different backgrounds. They engaged in working tables in the splendid setting of Villa Rufolo.
The working groups that animated the Ravello Laboratory focused on the experiences of strategic planning in the cultural field, with particular reference to management models able to develop audience development interventions, integrated by digital technologies for the enhancement of cultural resources.
Of particular importance is the focus on the Management Plans of UNESCO sites, promoted by MiBACT as a useful ‘protocol’ to promote the process of enhancing the cultural heritage of the territories. The results of the investigations involving the operators who took part in the Ravello Lab Colloquies will be particularly useful at the VII National Conference of UNESCO Sites, scheduled in Rome during the first ten days of November.
